for Engaging Learning Environments

Emergence
NEW FORMAT: 2-Day Program
PLUS 1 Personal Follow-up Coaching Session
This workshop is for professional facilitators, trainers, OD practitioners,
coaches, consultants, educators, entrepreneurs, leaders and anyone else who wants to facilitate
creativity, dynamic learning and positive culture change for their participants.
Join the creativity training
revolution! In this workshop you will learn and experience a variety of both right and left brain creativity approaches
and techniques designed to enliven your workshops and accelerate participant learning.
"Michelle's
workshop for facilitators is fun, effective and you'll be glad you did it." - Harrison Snow, Director, Team Building
Associates, Professional Facilitator
You will learn how to:
> Quickly and easily engage participants
> Modify activities
for the particular group and learning objectives
>
Draw forth the energy, passion, and assets already
in the room
> Cultivate the attitudes and behaviors for using creative, whole-brain approaches
> Create a safe and receptive learning environment
Effectively getting groups to open up to experiential
creative approaches begins with increasing your own comfort and flexibility with the techniques you facilitate.
This workshop will focus on two levels at the same time - you as a professional, authentic facilitator and
you as a creative individual. You will have the opportunity for personal expansion as you gather useful tools.
You
will experience whole-brain training activities based in storytelling, improvisational theater, visual imagery, somatics,
accelerated learning, ritual, systems thinking, Socratic and analytical processes... and more! You will learn key creative
facilitation principles, creativity training design guidelines, and whole brain approaches to design and facilitate innovative
learning environments.
You will explore using whole brain methods to:
> Get your own creative juices flowing
>
Draw forth your natural gifts as a facilitator
> Explore the applications of these new tools
> Have fun. Surprise yourself
and each other
> Let go of controls; think and respond spontaneously
You will leave with creative
activities for:
> Icebreakers
> Energizers
> Creating group story
>
Innovation & idea generation
> Team & community building; strategy sessions
> Creative thinking in any
group context
Don't get left behind! These days, with creativity as one of the top organizational values for success,
facilitators and leaders who know how to create conditions for creativity to emerge and flourish are in greater demand! That
requires an additional skill set, and way of being, than those needed to succeed in the "business as usual" paradigm.
This program is designed to be a "yes-and" to your existing facilitation repertoire to take you to your next level
of thrive-ability!
In this pattern-breaking program, you will learn how to let go of controls and mindsets
that otherwise inhibit your creative thinking. As you facilitate this for your participants, they will experience a deeper
level of meaning and learning.
"Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your workshop! It
was really fun and very instructive! It was a great class and I learned tons. I definitely got what I came for - so thank
you." - Mary Abbajay, Consultant for Organizational Effectiveness

From Creative
Facilitation Workshop Participants:
"For facilitators looking for ways to enliven
their techniques, this workshop is a winner." - Bill Olsen, President, Olsen Innovations, Certified Professional Facilitator
"Whether we work with conservative corporate clients with high anxiety thresholds about "retreats",
or groups that are eager to move out into the unknown, Michelle offered great techniques and variations for all. I realized
that activities to loosen up the mind are vital to the success of what one might regard as a cerebral exercise of a corporate
planning session." - Judy Bradt, Principal & CEO, Summit Insight
"I
constantly face three challenges: How to quickly engage people in my workshops? How to raise the level of engagement so participants
are emotionally as well as intellectually committed? How to nurture cooperative learning, where participants rely on each
other for their learning? I walked away with a facilitation arsenal and ideas - and with a smile on my face." - Allen
Liff, Ronin Marketing
"Your workshop was great! You are a great trainer and the principles and activities are fantastic.
Just what I need to freshen my training sessions." - Angela Churchill, Organizational Development Specialist, Department
of Human Services
"I've already brought back some of the exercises we did, and will be incorporating them
into our HR Conference." - Bruce Barishman, Senior Manager, Training, Organizational Development & Learning Services,
Interstate Hotels & Resorts
"Michelle creates a context in which
the wonder and beauty of true co-creation among participants can emerge. Under her warm
and spontaneous guidance humor, beauty, and truth come to the surface in a spirit of learning.
I came away with new skills, friendships, and gratitude." - Kathleen Hanagan,
Psychotherapist and Organizational Consultant
